ANNOUNCEMENT UPDATE!!!

The Mansfield High School Homecoming Parade will be Friday, November 1, 2024. Line-up will start at 10:45 AM, at the Mansfield High School parking lot near the baseball & softball fields, and the parade will leave at 11:30 AM. The parade will feature students representing Mansfield High School, including many of the MHS Alums. During the duration of the parade everyone is to stay on their floats, trailers, and in their vehicles. We want to make certain

everyone is safe and to avoid any personal injuries to participants or bystanders. Also, if you are participating in the parade, there will be no drinking of any alcoholic beverages nor smoking of any kind.

Tailgating will be in the Old Walmart parking lot. Tailgate parking will be first come first serve. There will be an area designated for tailgating separate from regular parking. The mayor has also designated an area for the Homecoming Committee Command Area. There will be no painting areas off. The city will be coordinating the tailgating setup with the various classes and groups. Please keep the parking lot clean and safe. If you are grilling and using charcoal or wood, then you are to bring an ash box to dump your ashes in. Do not dump them in the parking lot. Make sure you bring trash barrels or bags so in which you can place your waste items. There will be a white trailer located in the area where everyone can place their bags of trash.

DO NOT SPEED OR PERFORM BURNOUTS IN THE PARKING LOT NOR ON THE ROADWAY.

NO ATV's ALLOWED!!!

There will be ZERO tolerance for disorderly conduct. The City of Mansfield Police Department and the DeSoto Parish Sheriff Office will be working together to ensure that any matters deemed outside the scope of peace and harmony are managed in a prompt and appropriate manner.
