The Mayor and City Council recognize that keeping the City clean is a great part of attracting visitors and economic development to our community.  Ensuring a sustainable future for Mansfield is one of the reasons why the Mayor and City Council acknowledged the need to purchase two vehicles and provide personal to operate a Community Cleanup program. Using supervised nonviolent prison inmates to clean up public places and perform community service results in the City being a more attractive, safer place to live and provides an opportunity for inmates to make restitution to the community.
