Mansfield... a "City of Change"

Mansfield is a small, but growing and ever changing city, located in Northwest Louisiana.  With a population of nearly 6,000 citizens, it’s the largest of incorporated bodies in DeSoto Parish and serves as the parish seat.  Mansfield is the 107th largest community in Louisiana. 

Workforce 
Because occupations involving physical labor dominate the local economy, Mansfield is generally considered to be a blue-collar town.  36.9 percent of the Mansfield workforce is employed in blue-collar occupations, compared to the national average of 24.7 percent.

Overall, Mansfield is a city of sales and office workers, service providers, and professionals.
There are especially many people living in Mansfield who works in office and administrative support jobs (11.82%), sales jobs (9.36%), and teaching (8.98%).
