To the citizens of the City of Mansfield,
The City of Mansfield needs your help to renew the 8.46 mill property tax for the city of Mansfield. In place since 2003, the renewal tax provides corporate funds for the overall betterment of the quality of life for us, the citizens of Mansfield. The tax renewal spans a period of ten years extending until 2023.This renewal tax contributes $179,775 annually and is levied on property within the City of Mansfield.
This is not a new tax, rather a renewal for the continuation of police, fire, sanitation services, road maintenance, and the further progression of our City of vision and change!
Mayor Curtis McCoy and the Board of Aldermen

The City of Mansfield's new Gateway Project is no longer a vision, but a reality. Two of the seven signs
where recently erected at Hwy 171 north and Hwy 84 E. The gateway signs are a part of a community
plan to help brand the City of Mansfield as a destination.
The City has identified seven (7) gateways and plan to place the welcome signs
at each location. The next two signs are planned for Hwy 84W/MHS and Hwy 171 South. We have
requested funds from several oil and gas companies to assist us with the project.
Exco Operating Co., has responded to our request, and graciously donated $2,000. We
appreciate Exco for their commitment to the citizens of Mansfield. We will appreciate any support
we can get from businesses, community groups, or individual citizens.

Mansfield Wolverines will be taking to the field this fall on a "state of the art" synthetic turf. Construction
crews are busy installing the turf which is part of an all-new facility that will also feature
renovated stands, press box, running track, and jumping pits.
